Gotherington Cricket Club 2012
Welcome to Gotherington cricket club.
We play at Freeman Field in the centre of the village, named after village stalwart David Freeman who was instrumental in securing the land for the pitch in 1965.
We have a practice facility called the "Radford EZYNET". This will mean good quality practice facilities available adjacent to the square. Local firm New and Tilley builders who gave their time and expertise free taking considerable time and effort to make the installation possible.
We play Adult cricket as well as full Junior league and cup fixtures for u13 and u15 alongside some under 11 friendlies.
We now have changing and shower facilities, plus an attractive fixture list including games at beautiful grounds such as Overbury, Apperley, Kingsholm, Sheepscombe and Winchcombe, plus a tour to Devon playing Abbotskerswell and another sunday fixture
Anybody wishing to get involved in the club is most welcome, we could really do some help with the ground, do not worry if you can only spare a small amount of time it all helps.
